- Institutional Mandate & Nature of Advocacy
The Judy Loker Initiative (“JLI”) is an independent non-profit educational advocacy
organization. Our mission is strictly centered on public education, systemic advocacy, and
modernizing the channels through which brain health and neurodevelopmental knowledge are
delivered and retained. - Distinction of Board Qualifications & Institutional Identity
While members of JLI’s Board of Directors and Advisory Council possess backgrounds spanning
clinical nursing, molecular neuroscience research, developmental psychology, legal counsel, and
corporate leadership, JLI does not operate as a clinical practice, a medical consultancy, or an
independent research laboratory.- Board and advisory council members serve in a governance, strategic, and advocacy
capacity only. - JLI does not formulate individualized medical protocols, clinical trial interventions, or
therapeutic care. - The Initiative functions as a civic platform and educational catalyst, grounded in deep
respect for the lived realities of neurodegeneration, developmental trauma, and family
caregiving. - Informational Standard & Medical Non-Reliance
