Arizona Community Service Legal Assistance Foundation; Arizona Town Hall; Circle K International; Maricopa Biomedical Libraries (Former President); Nevada Library Association; Orangewood Presbyterian Church, Phoenix (Former President); Phi Delta Phi International Legal Fraternity; Phoenix Shanti Group, Inc.; Phoenix Sister Cities, Inc.; and UVA Club of Phoenix

Non-Profit Consulting:​During nearly 40 years of law practice, Mike advised dozens of non-profit corporations in formation and governance matters.

Public Service:​Mike’s public service has included terms on the Arizona State Liquor Board and the Arizona Supreme Court’s Committee on Alternative Business Structures, public hearing bodies. He currently serves as a Hearing Officer for the City of Phoenix Department of Planning and Development.

Responsibilities:​ Mike is the husband of Peggy A. Widener and father of three daughters, Kathryn, Alison, and Victoria. A hearty advocate for literacy and sound use of the English language, Mike is the author of Joint Tenancies (2018), Fishbein, Ascending (2021), The Termite Vector (2023), and Isthmus of Choice (2024), along with dozens of academic and trade publication articles available on the Internet.
